The price dropped. Hard.
As of May 14. The 50-inch Hisense Hi QLED S7 CanvasTV sits at $798.9 on Amazon. That is its lowest ever. A launch just last month saw it priced at $1.299. The difference is more than five hundred dollars. You don’t need to squint to see the deal.
Is now the time to buy?
If you want that smaller art TV aesthetic. If you hate glare. Yes. This isn’t a leftover model from two years ago. It is brand new hardware sitting on a discount shelf. Leah Stodart of Mashable called it out earlier. She noted the Canvas series as a tough beat for budget shoppers. Even Samsung fans notice. They call it a dupe for The Frame. A cheaper dupe that works.
Look at the screen. Really look at it. 4K resolution. QLED Color tech. There is an anti glare layer that kills those annoying reflections. Bright room or dark room. The detail holds up. Vivid. Sharp. Not muddy.
And it runs Google TV. One hub. All your apps. Streaming isn’t an afterthought here. It is the whole point for most people.
So why are you reading this instead of buying?
Maybe you are waiting for more. The price might drop again. Probably not to zero though. If the math works for you. $799 gets you a high end picture. It gets you wall art when you are done watching Netflix. That dual purpose matters more than it sounds.
Check your wallet. Then check Amazon.
